We aim to accelerate the development of next generation technology for the warfighter through the leveraging of advanced defense modeling and simulation tools. We believe that the innovation, and problem solving required to develop tomorrow's weapon systems will require the use of simulated Battlespace environments and streamlined, responsive development approaches.
Our simulation expertise spans multiple industries such as commercial flight training, robotics, defense M&S and operational level wargaming. We use AFSIM, MACE and other tools to deliver results to customers. Our strength lies in our understanding of leveraging advanced M&S to create realistic digital environments in which customers can innovate and inform decision-making.
We provide engineering support and modeling and simulation analysis services for the aerospace and defense industry using both US government provided tools and commercial tools. We are also working to develop our own Unity based simulation tool ARES that aims to both accelerate the early use of M&S in systems development, but also serve as an easy to use analytical wargaming tool.
ARES aims to accelerate modeling and simulation analysis efforts and improve combat adjudication in analytical wargaming by leveraging advanced AI, commercial gaming technology, and innovative design into an easy to use tool.
ARES leverages the huge investments made in commercial gaming technology and is built on the latest version of Unity with a custom, deterministic physics engine. This approach not only lowers the cost of development, but it also will improve the performance of complex simulations.
Traditional M&S tools have confusing user interfaces and they require extensive user training to get meaningful results. ARES intends to be more accessible to analysts, wargamers and engineers and to speed up the M&S Analysis process.
AI is an important new technology that, if applied correctly, can be a force multiplier. for users. With ARES, we aim to integrate the best AI technology where it can deliver the greatest benefit to the end user. ARES has its own agent-based, data driven behavior system to control individual platforms and act as group commanders.
Traditionally, wargamers have relied on paper maps and dice to play through various scenarios and required participants to be physically colocated. Digital wargames can supplement traditional wargaming, and allow for virtual participation and multiple runs of simulated missions to better inform analysis. ARES is designed from the ground up to support wargaming with it's mission-centric approach to scenario generation and fully constructive, data driven behavior system.
ARES is designed to be flexible. Run it headless in a cloud environment connected to a custom user interface or common operational picture (COP), or on a tablet with the full ARES user interface Use ARES built-in mid fidelity physics, or plug in custom high fidelity physics models.
Latest ARES featuring multiple offensive/defensive counter-air and anti-surface warfare interdiction missions run completely constructively.
